  FASTech Wins NASA SEWP V Contract Award


2014 : LAUREL, Maryland-October 27, 2014-The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has announced FASTech, Inc. as a Prime Contractor under the fifth generation of its premier Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP V). Boasting over 70 manufacturers and resellers of IT equipment, SEWP V will offer a variety of IT products and product-based services to all Federal Agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD), and their contractors. 

As a direct follow-on to the SEWP IV contract, SEWP V will continue to offer customers outstanding services based on experience with the following benefits:
  • State-of-the-art computer technologies, network equipment, and peripherals.
  • Low prices and the lowest surcharge of any GWAC.
  • Fast and easy quotes and orders.
  • Greater emphasis on supply chain risk management and compliance.
Expected to launch in the coming months, the SEWP V contract is a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. It will have a ten year ordering period consisting of a five year base period, and one five year option period. More specifically under the SEWP V contract, FASTech was awarded in Category B, Group C for Server Support/Multi-Functional Devices, which was set aside for Small Businesses.
